Dr. Gabriel Pérez, the project coordinator, is associate professor, researcher at the Department of Computer science and Industrial Engineering within the Polytechnic School of the University of Lleida.
His academic qualifications are PhD from Polytechnic University of Catalonia (2010), in the PhD program “Research in energy and environment for Architecture”, Agronomist engineer University of Lleida (1995).
The main areas of research that he has been developed during the last years refer to the use of green infrastructure in the urban environment, essentially the roofs and green facades, as a tool to provide ecosystem services both at building and urban scales.
Dr. Julià Coma is a tenure-eligible lecturer at the University of Lleida in the Serra Húnter programme.
He has a bachelor’s degree in Architectural Technology and Building Construction (2011) and a Master in Applied Sciences in Engineering (2012) at the University of Lleida. He has an International PhD from the University of Lleida (2016) in the “Engineering and Information Technologies” programme.
His main research topics are focused on building integrated vegetation systems as passive tools for energy efficiency, and BIM systems. He is the coordinator of the bachelor’s degree in Architectural Technology and Building Construction as well as the responsible of the academic internships and Dual Higher Education.
