Dr. Gabriel Pérez
Dr. Gabriel Pérez, the project coordinator, is associate professor, researcher at the Department of Computer science and Industrial Engineering within the Polytechnic School of the University of Lleida.
His academic qualifications are PhD from Polytechnic University of Catalonia (2010), in the PhD program “Research in energy and environment for Architecture”, Agronomist engineer University of Lleida (1995).
The main areas of research that he has been developed during the last years refer to the use of green infrastructure in the urban environment, essentially the roofs and green facades, as a tool to provide ecosystem services both at building and urban scales.
Dr. Julià Coma
Dr. Julià Coma is a tenure-eligible lecturer at the University of Lleida in the Serra Húnter programme.
He has a bachelor’s degree in Architectural Technology and Building Construction (2011) and a Master in Applied Sciences in Engineering (2012) at the University of Lleida. He has an International PhD from the University of Lleida (2016) in the “Engineering and Information Technologies” programme.
His main research topics are focused on building integrated vegetation systems as passive tools for energy efficiency, and BIM systems. He is the coordinator of the bachelor’s degree in Architectural Technology and Building Construction as well as the responsible of the academic internships and Dual Higher Education.

Electronic Engineer, PhD student on the analysis and study of data from systems to evaluate and value sustainability in green roofs in urban environments.
Gerard Marias
Mechanical Engineer from the University of Lleida and Energy Technology Engineer from the University of NOVIA (Finland).

Dra. Ana María Lacasta
PhD in Physical Sciences from the University of Barcelona. Full Professor at the Department of Architectural Technology at the UPC, within the Barcelona School of Building Construction (EPSEB).
Head of the GICITED research group and the EPSEB Acoustics and Energy Saving Laboratory.
She develops her research in the field of the development of sustainable materials and systems for buildings and on the analysis and improvement of the acoustic, thermal and reaction to fire behaviors of building materials.
Montserrat Bosch
Montserrat Bosch, Technical Architect, Degree in Humanities, Master in Sustainability and Dra. UPC. Member of the GICITED Research Group and expert in Energy Rehabilitation of buildings. She collaborates in several national and European competitive projects.
She has been working for more than 20 years in the analysis and study of proposals for building interventions based on materials and techniques with a low environmental impact.
She is currently a member of the Ethics Committee of the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya and Deputy Director of Science Policy, Social Responsibility and Promotion at the Barcelona School of Building Construction (EPSEB)
Inmaculada Rodríguez
Technical Architect and PhD in Physical Sciences.
Full Professor whitin the Department of Architectural Technology at the UPC, at the Barcelona School of Building Construction (EPSEB), and member of the GICITED research group.
Her areas of expertise are the characterization of building materials, the energy efficiency and the sustainability in the building sector
Fanny Esther Berigüete
Architect from the Autonomous University of Santo Domingo (UASD), specializing in Project Management, Master’s Degree in Advanced Building Construction from the Polytechnic University of Catalonia (UPC).
Teaching and research staff in training at the UPC on the topics of citizen participation and initiatives, sustainability, sustainability indicators, urban planning, Smart Cities and new technologies.
She teaches in the subject Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energies within the Master’s Degree in Advanced Construction for Buildings (MUCAE) as well as in the subject of Artificial Intelligence for the Construction, at Technical Architecture Degree at the UPC.
Dr. Aleix Alva
Master’s degree in biophysics and PhD in physics, specialised in computational simulation and numerical methods applied to biochemical systems, fire dynamics and thermal properties of materials.

Dedicated to industrial engineering, specialist in the integration of urban nature in the building through Biotechnology, he has experience in the vegetal coating of several emblematic buildings.
